Chia seed: A super food for controlling different diseases

Abstract: Chia seeds (Salvia hispanica) have gained popularity as a superfood due to their high nutritional value and potential health benefits. Rich in omega-3 fatty acids, fibre, protein, vitamins, and minerals, chia seeds are believed to play a significant role in managing and preventing various diseases. This review paper explores the scientific evidence supporting the health benefits of chia seeds, focusing on their role in controlling cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, obesity, digestive disorders, and inflammation.
